Just like the synthetic gas produced by Proton Power’s CHyP pyrolysis units, the Pro-C® biochar that is produced by every PPI renewable energy system is special because of the high temperatures at which it is formed. The extreme temperature of this process makes for less waste byproducts, and thus less environmental impact. And since it’s produced from renewable feedstocks, it earns maximum voluntary carbon offsets by also sequestering atmospheric carbon dioxide.
